Optimistic Leaders envision excellence for themselves and their programs, and the best outcomes for children and families. Optimistic Leaders, across every role in centers and systems, practice these five commitments:

  • Think Impact to make informed decisions
  • Cultivate Self-Awareness to guide thought, emotion, and behavior
  • Nurture Relationships to support learning and collaboration
  • Refine Communication for mutual clarity and understanding
  • Activate Curiosity to find connections and continue learning

This course will be conducted by Judy Jablon. Judy is an Early Childhood Consultant and author with a focus on interactions, assessments and program quality. She founded Leading for Children in 2016 to focus on changing the culture of early learning in ways that emphasize leadership and optimism so that we can energize our educational systems to develop the next generation of thinkers and leaders.
