This training course applies to infants and covers SIDS, safe sleep practices, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and early brain development. Learn to recognize and prevent shaken baby syndrome, understand infant brain development, and take precautions to reduce the risk of SIDS, including the use of safe sleep practices. 

 

Learning Outcomes: After completing Risk Factors in Infancy you will be able to identify the causes and symptoms of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and identify risk factors and avoid practices that lead to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
