Caring for the Well-being of Early Childhood and Education Professionals
9:00 AM

The Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership invites you to its annual Infant and Toddler Institute featuring a day for center directors and administrators of early care and education programs that work with infant and toddlers.

Directors and Administrators will enjoy a workshop with Kate McCormick, Ph.D. and Mary Benson McMullen, Ph.D. on Caring for the Well-being of ECE Professionals.

In this presentation, participants will explore the concept of well-being, the nine senses essential for caring for one’s professional well-being, and factors that support and hinder workplace well-being. Following an overview of professional well-being, attendees will be asked to engage in interactive discussions focused on how the topic applies to their sites. The presentation will culminate with a group-based activity inviting participants to create an action plan for enhancing the well-being of professionals in their workplaces.
